Sukma XXI: Sarawak wins gold in men’s Waikru, Sabah dominates women’s

BINTULU (Aug 19): Sarawak’s Mifdhal Wafiy Ayatullah clinched the gold medal in the men’s Waikru solo final at Sukma XXI 2024.

Mifdhal impressed the judges with a score of 9.00 points, narrowly edging out Sabah’s Muhammad Iftikharsyahlan As Roslan, who scored 8.80 points.

Sabah dominated the women’s Waikru solo event with Yan Jia Chi securing the gold medal.

She scored an impressive 9.70 points, defeating Sarawak’s Nur Iklil Zarifah Mohamad Affandi, who earned a silver with 9.30 points.
