Tadika Sri Mawar’s Open Day offers learning, health activities on Oct 17

MIRI: Excitement is brewing among Miri parents as Tadika Sri Mawar prepares to throw open its doors this October 17 for a morning filled with discovery, health screenings and vibrant community spirit.

Running from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, the Open Day promises a warm, interactive atmosphere where families can step directly into bright classrooms, meet passionate educators, and get a first-hand feel for the dynamic early childhood learning environment.

Beyond exploring the curriculum and securing places for the 2027 intake, families are in for a holistic weekend experience designed to celebrate early education alongside community wellness.

Headmistress Evelyn Woodford expressed her excitement for the upcoming gathering, emphasising the kindergarten’s vision of fostering both academic growth and healthy living.

“Open Day at Tadika Sri Mawar is more than a school tour. It is a morning for families to learn, play and look after their health together. Our doors are open to everyone,” Woodford said in a statement today.

Visitors can look forward to free health check-ups, including complimentary blood pressure and blood glucose checks, alongside full-body InBody composition analysis available at a special promotional rate of RM30.

Youngsters will not be left out of the fun, with engaging activities such as a hands-on hand hygiene workshop designed to make everyday wellness habits fun, playful and memorable.

The event will take place at Tadika Sri Mawar, Lot 1051, Jalan Acacia 3, Shang Garden, Miri.

Admission is completely free, and all Miri families are invited to join in the festivities.
