BINTULU (Oct 4): The N68 Tanjong Batu Mobile Service2U team will set up its counter at the Boulevard Shopping Mall Bintulu on Oct 5 and 6 from 10am to 5pm.
Tanjong Batu assemblyman Johnny Pang said the mobile service counter is one of the key initiatives of his service centre.
“Through this counter, more people can apply for various initiatives provided by the Sarawak government,” he told a press conference yesterday.
Additionally, he said the public can file reports on local issues with the team, facilitating better communication and problem-solving, thereby fostering a harmonious and liveable community.
Pang added that relevant government agencies and departments will also participate in the programme.
“I believe that with the involvement of government departments, good policies can be effectively communicated to the grassroots, providing the public with detailed explanations,” he said.
Moreover, he added, officers from the relevant departments will assist the public in applying for the Kenyalang Gold Card and registering for senior citizens health benefits.
He encouraged the public to take advantage of this weekly programme by the mobile service team to provide constructive feedback and address community issues.
“Our team will fully assist the community in conveying complaints to the relevant departments for follow-up, review and resolution,” said the Sarawak United People’s Party Bintulu branch chairman.
