Webinar discusses R&D on biological resources

KUCHING: A webinar was held here to get perspectives from experts regarding research and development on Sarawak’s biological resources.

Organised by the Sarawak Biodiversity Centre (SBC), the webinar was held on Monday (Dec 4), with three panel members presenting their respective projects on the state’s biological resources.

The first was a lecturer from the Unimas Faculty of Resource Science and Technology Dr Ngieng Ngui Sing, followed by Dr Kiew Siaw Fui from Curtin University Malaysia and thirdly, Siti Zaleha Raduan, a Unimas lecturer in the Department of Paraclinical Sciences.

The webinar provided a great insight on further development projects on the state’s biological resources.
