Woman fined RM8,000 for offensive remarks on Pintasan assemblyman

KOTA KINABALU: A 24-year-old woman was fined a total of RM8,000, in default, 15 months imprisonment for two separate charges of making offensive remarks in relation to Pintasan assemblyman Datuk Fairuz Renddan and insulting the latter on social media platforms.

The accused, Luisa Luis, who is jobless pleaded guilty to the two cases in the court here on Monday (June 10).
