“Programmes like this are not merely gatherings for breaking fast together. They also serve as a platform to cultivate values of love, care, and togetherness within the community.

“I truly appreciate Pekema Sarawak’s proactive initiative to reach out to orphans and tahfiz students through the presentation of contributions to 100 recipients,” he said.

He added that while the contributions carried significant meaning as they could bring joy, motivation, and reassurance to the recipients that they are valued and supported by society.

Dr Hazland called on the corporate sector, non-governmental organisations, and individuals to continue supporting charitable initiatives.

He also advised the children at the event to remain determined in their studies and to view life’s challenges as motivation to strive for success.

“Remember that you are not alone. Many people care about you and are always ready to support and help shape your future,” he added.
