KUCHING, Aug 3: Two individuals were injured while three others were unharmed after a vehicle plunged into a ravine following a two-vehicle collision near Bukit Song Road in Miri yesterday.

According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations center on Aug 2, they received a call regarding the incident at 7.05pm and deployed Bomba Lopeng to the location.

Based on the report, the incident involved two four-wheel drive vehicles.

Four of the victims were assisted out of their vehicles by members of the public while one other, who are inside the vehicle that plunged into the ravine, were extracted by firefighters.

All of them were later transported to Miri Hospital using ambulances from Ministry of Health (MOH) and Bomba Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) for further action. — DayakDaily
