MIRI, Sept 30: Three individuals, comprising two women and a man, sustained injuries following a two-vehicle collision near Jalan Simpang SOP Gelasah along Jalan Pan Borneo, Batu Niah, this morning.
The accident involved a four-wheel drive (4WD) and a sports utility vehicle (SUV), with the impact of the collision causing both vehicles to plunge into a 10-foot-deep ravine.
The vehicles were severely damaged due to the crash.
According to the Batu Niah Fire and Rescue Department, a distress call was received at around 7.50am, prompting a team of firefighters to rush to the scene.
