Bank Rakyat gives away 60 food packs to The Borneo Post, Utusan Borneo in Kuching

KUCHING (March 3): In the spirit of holy month of Ramadan, Bank Rakyat distributed 60 food packs to The Borneo Post and Utusan Borneo here yesterday.

On hand to receive the contributions was Utusan Borneo managing director Sulaiman Bujang, representing the two dailies.

The Bank Rakyat delegation comprised its vice president for Sarawak regional office Yuhip Rabaie, corporate communication executive Aznur Atiqah Maryam Aziz, as well as branch managers Zambery Bujang (Kota Sentosa), Sharvina Sarbini (Matang Jaya) and Julaihi Manjani (Kota Samarahan).

The bank, in a statement, said the initiative was part of its larger outreach programme, involving the distribution of 150 food packs to selected media agencies across Sarawak as a gesture of appreciation for the media’s ongoing role in the community.
