BESarawak shares vision with Wan Junaidi

KUCHING: The Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, received a courtesy call from the Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak) delegation at the Astana Negeri today (Sept 10).

The delegation was led by BESarawak chairman Datuk Seri Abang Abdul Karim Tun Abang Openg.
The primary aim of the visit was to brief Wan Junaidi on the objectives, role, and mission of BESarawak, previously known as the Sarawak Convention Bureau.

The meeting was also attended by several board members of BESarawak, including Chief Scientist and Chief Advisor for Digital Economy of the Sarawak government, Professor Jugdutt (Jack) Singh; Associate Professor Dr. Margaret Chan from the Universiti Teknologi MARA Faculty of Plantation and Agrotechnology; and Dzulkornian Masron, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of International Trade, Industry, and Investment (MINTRED).

Also present were BESarawak’s executive team, including Chief Executive Officer Amelia Roziman; General Manager of Business Development and Marketing, Jason Tan Chin Foo; General Manager of Corporate Management, Jacqueline Png; Deputy General Manager of Business Development and Research, Anedia Kahar; and Government Relations Manager, Mohamad Syazwan Osman.
