Blood donation drive in Dalat records 100 pints

DALAT (Dec 14): The Blood Donation Campaign 4.0, carried out by Pertubuhan Jenaseng Dalat last Saturday, achieved notable success with the collection of 100 pints.

Themed ‘Donate Blood with Love, Blessings Abound – Passing Kindness Forward’, the drive significantly boosted the blood bank’s supply at Dalat Hospital, helping to meet critical medical needs in the area.

The initiative was spearheaded by Jenaseng chairman Daniel Francis Klumai, and received an encouraging response from the public, alongside strong support from various local organisations and corporate partners.

Among those present were representatives of Sarawak Sago Manufacturers Association, led by its deputy chairman Lawrence Ling; and CH Ling Enterprise Sdn Bhd, represented by Jackson Ling.

A cheque presentation ceremony was also held during the event.

Dalat councillor Boris Ling, who witnessed the ceremony, commended the organisers for successfully mobilising the community in support of a noble, life-saving cause.

“The collection of 100 pints reflects the community’s spirit of unity, generosity and shared responsibility towards public welfare,” he said.
