Body of man who fell off bridge in Kuching found

KUCHING (Nov 1): The body of a man believed to have fallen off Tan Sri Sulaiman Daud bridge into Sungai Maong yesterday, has been recovered.

Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) in a statement said the body, identified as Aliff Fadzree Azlam, was found about 50 metres away from the bridge.

The search and rescue team immediately retrieved the body using a rescue boat, before handing it over to the police for further action.

With the discovery of the body, the search-and-rescue operation concluded at 4.50pm.
