Cosplay competition for children for Stemplayground 2024   

MIRI: The Sarawak State Library branch here is calling on children aged 12 and under to showcase their creativity in a cosplay competition to be held during the Stemplayground 2024 event on Sept 7 and 8.

“The competition is open to all types of cosplay genres from entertainment media, such as superheroes or anime characters. However, original characters (OC) are not permitted,” the library said in a press release.

According to librarian Dorithy Dela Lawrence, the event aims to build and strengthen a community of enthusiasts and provide a platform for fans to meet and share experiences.

Winners will receive cash prizes for champion RM300, first runner-up RM200, second runner-up RM100 and consolation prizes for 5 winners RM50 and a certificate of participation

Participants can register online by filling out the form available at https://forms.gle/W7wjeCkd9t1iFH5q8 or by scanning the QR code on the event poster.

The deadline for registration is Sept 2.
