Deadline nears for DEA2024

KUCHING: Time is running out for Sarawak’s digital pioneers to be recognised!

The prestigious Sarawak Digital Economy Awards (Sarawak DEA2024) is organised by the Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) and celebrates groundbreaking achievements in digital transformation across various industries.

Sarawak DEA2024 coincides with the highly anticipated 7th International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak (IDECS) 2024 at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) from Oct 16-17.

Under the visionary leadership of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, IDECS has become a leading global platform promoting digital excellence and driving socio-economic progress.

The awards aim to shine a spotlight on digital innovation, collaboration, and progress in Sarawak. They provide a platform for visionaries, pioneers, and innovators to showcase their contributions towards a thriving digital Sarawak.

Companies and individuals can compete in a range of categories, including: Micro Small Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) Award, Research & Development Award, Technology Start-Up Award, Digital Government Award, Sustainability Award, Industry 4.0 Award.

A special highlight is the Premier’s Digital Economy Award, which honours the most outstanding achievement among all category winners.

The deadline for submissions for Sarawak DEA2024 is Sept 23, 2024, at 11.59 pm (GMT+08).

The winners will be celebrated at the awards presentation ceremony held on Oct 17, 2024, coinciding with IDECS 2024.
