KUCHING, Nov 2: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Patinggi Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has arrived in Kuching for a two-day working visit.
According to a report from Jabatan Penerangan Sarawak, Zahid landed at the RMAF Kuching Air Base at 10.30am and was welcomed by Kota Samarahan MP Datuk Rubiah Wang and Deputy Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Abdul Rahman Junaidi.
Following his arrival, Zahid will attend a Majlis Pemimpin Bersama Rakyat event at Rh Entri Lengkoi in Samu, Ulu Paku, Betong.
Tomorrow, he is scheduled for a briefing on the implementation of development projects by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKWD) in Sarawak.
He is expected to depart for Kuala Lumpur the same day (Nov 3) on a special flight at 12.30pm. — DayakDaily
