Firefighters clearing the debris after the accident to ensure the safety of other road users.
SONG (March 17): A single-vehicle accident occurred this morning along Jalan Embuau, but the driver walked away unharmed.
Zone 4 Sibu Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) chief Andy Alie said firefighters from the Song Bomba station arrived at the scene at 7.31am to find the Isuzu D-Max involved in the accident already empty.
“The driver managed to get out safely before we arrived. There was no one trapped, so no rescue was needed,” he said when contacted today.
The Bomba team of six carried out a quick clean-up to ensure the road was safe for other motorists.
Andy praised the efficiency of the crew for clearing the scene quickly, particularly in ensuring the safety of road users.
The operation lasted just 16 minutes, with firefighters returning to base shortly after.
