E-waste collection at Tanjung Batu on Dec 2

BINTULU: The 2023 Electrical and Electronic Waste (EEW) Collection Campaign has returned and will be held at the no.1 car park Temasya Beach, Tanjung Batu here on December 2.

This program, organised by the Bintulu Development Board in collaboration with E-Concern (M) Sdn. Bhd, will run from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm.

The campaign’s primary objective is to raise awareness among the local community about the environmental dangers posed by e-waste and to ensure that the collected e-waste is recycled or disposed of safely, preventing environmental pollution.

Additionally, the campaign aims to promote a circular economy and the recovery of EEW goods.
