KUCHING (Sept 25): A 74-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with an ambulance at Mile 17 along Jalan Kuching-Serian around 12.50pm today.
Padawan District Police Chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi said the man was riding alone when the accident occurred.
“The accident occurred at 12.50pm and the motorcyclist was confirmed dead at the scene,” Mohd Irwan said when contacted.
The deceased’s body has been sent to the Forensic Department of Sarawak General Hospital for further action, and the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
