Fire razes six-door rental house at Kpg Tabuan Cemerlang in Kuching

KUCHING (Aug 27): A six-door rental house at Kampung Tabuan Cemerlang in Jalan Setia Raja here was completely destroyed in a fire this morning.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), they received a call on the incident ta 9.03am and firefighters from Padungan and Tabuan Jaya Fire Station were deployed to the scene.

“The six-door rental house, which was a non-permanent structure, was completely destroyed. No casualties have been reported so far,” it said in a statement today.

Bomba said the firefighters managed to put the fire under control and prevented it from spreading to four nearby houses.

“Overhaul works are currently underway,” it added.
