KUCHING (March 6): KKB Engineering Bhd (KKB) has secured two contracts worth approximately RM19 million for the supply of pipes, steel poles and related accessories.

In a bourse filing on Friday, the group said it received a purchase order from Belianemas Synergy Sdn Bhd for the supply of MSCL pipes and pipe specials.

It also received a letter of award from Sarawak Energy Bhd for the supply and delivery of steel poles and accessories.

KKB said the purchase order is expected to be delivered and completed in stages by the second half of 2027.

Meanwhile, the contract with Sarawak Energy spans two years and will run in stages until 2028.

It added that the contracts are not expected to have any effect on the company’s share capital but are anticipated to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of KKB and its group during the supply period.

This contract marks the third job win by KKB this year. It had earlier secured a minor engineering, procurement and construction (ePC) contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd valued at around RM212 million.

It had also secured six contracts with a combined value of about RM80 million for the supply of pipes, poles and related fabricated products from QC Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd (QC), Bumia Sdn Bhd and EPR (Kuching) Sdn Bhd for the supply of mild steel cement-lined (MSCL) pipes and specials.
