Lab held to discuss Bintulu’s Rural Transformation Projects for 2025

BINTULU (Sept 12): The Rural Transformation Project (RTP) 2025 Lab took place here today.

Among those present were Jepak assemblyman Iskandar Turkee, Murum assemblyman Kennedy Chukpai Ugon, and Bintulu Resident Nyurak Keti.

Iskandar said the programme aimed to discuss proposed rural development projects for 2025.

“This programme is expected to serve as a crucial platform for planning more effective RTP to benefit rural communities,” he said.

After the Bintulu Resident’s welcoming speech, there were briefings and engagement sessions with the Sarawak Economic Planning Unit (EPU), the State Implementation Monitoring Unit (Simu), and the State Financial Secretary’s Office.

In the afternoon, group discussions featured project proposals from the District Officers of Bintulu, Tatau, and Sebauh.
