Lodge excels in Cambridge IGCSE: Two students achieve A* in all subjects, significant overall improvement

KUCHING, Jan 24: Lodge International School has achieved outstanding results for the November 2023 Cambridge IGCSE, with two students earning the prestigious distinction of scoring A* in all subjects.

According to a media release, the school highlighted the exceptional performance of this year’s cohort, showcasing significant improvement compared to the previous year’s results, which were released on Jan 18.

Adding to the success, an impressive total of 11 students attained straight A and A* grades, exemplifying the high standards maintained at Lodge International School.

Notably, the individual subject performances were remarkable, with 58.7 per cent of the 448 papers examined securing the top grade of A or A*.

Furthermore, 35 students, constituting 57.4 per cent of the cohort, excelled by achieving a minimum of five subjects with A or A* grades.

The achievement is further underscored by the substantial improvement in the percentage of A and A* grades in specific subjects, with remarkable advancements in subjects such as ICT (85.7 pct), Biology (81.4 pct), Physics (77.8 pct), Additional Mathematics (67.9 pct), Literature in English (62.5 pct), First Language English (62.5 pct), Chemistry (61.5 pct), Mathematics (59.0 pct), History (50.0 pct), and Economics (43.8 pct).
