KUCHING, Sept 14: Kota Samarahan Municipal Council (MPKS) staff members participated in a team-building programme aimed at improving the council’s public service delivery.
In a statement today, MPKS announced that 140 staff members took part in the two-day programme, which focused on strengthening collaboration across divisions, enhancing problem-solving skills, fostering a cohesive working environment, and improving cooperation to achieve the council’s shared goals.
MPKS secretary Gustian Durani emphasised that the programme highlighted the significance of personal and professional development among council staff.
“When we invest in building our people, we create a more dynamic and efficient workplace. Strong teamwork leads to better outcomes and strengthens the organisation overall,” he said.
The programme featured group activities, discussions, and motivational talks designed to encourage collaboration and build trust among participants.
MPKS also expressed its gratitude to the Ministry of Public Health, Housing, and Local Government, Sarawak, for their support in making the event a success. — DayakDaily
