New music outlet in Johor hits right chord with enthusiasts

Bentley Music celebrated the grand opening of its newest branch in Johor, located at Eko Galleria, Taman Eko Botani in Iskandar Puteri.

The opening ceremony, attended by media representatives and music aficionados, was inaugurated by Bentley Music group managing director and Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) deputy president Datuk Ken Phua.

The event marked a milestone in Bentley Music’s journey as it introduced an amalgamation of musical choices, with the unveiling of the Bentley Music Showroom and Steinway Gallery, side by side.

Attendees were treated to showroom tours and opportunities to explore a selection of instruments.

There was also a live performance by local indie band, Judos.

The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Bentley Music Showroom, where visitors marvelled at the diverse range of musical instruments on display, ranging from guitars and drums to state-of-the-art audio gear and accessories.

The Steinway Gallery, located within the same premises, features a collection of exquisite pianos, including the Steinway Family of Pianos.

The grand opening also featured an exclusive showcase of the Steinway Pops Collection in Pink – part of a special Steinway collection that puts a fresh spin on classic Steinways with vibrant accents, infusing character into the ebony grand piano.

This limited-time feature – available only at Steinway Gallery Johor until Dec 31, captivates visitors with its elegance and extraordinary musical brilliance.

Accomplished musicians added to the merriment of the celebration, showcasing the versatility of Bentley Music’s instruments and musical diversity, with live performances ranging from classical compositions to contemporary tunes.

Attendees also had the chance to take advantage of special promotions and offers during the event, which provided a great opportunity for music enthusiasts to invest in quality musical instruments.

Among those present were Aqina Trading Sdn Bhd group executive director and chief of MRCA southern chapter Wesley Tan Seah Ging, Johor Baru Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Low Kueck Shin, Marrybrown Sdn Bhd managing director Datin Nancy Liew and its business director Michael Liew.

From the Bentley Music Group were piano department head Datin Cathlyn Lee, business development director Lewis Hooper, EDP department head Phua Yoke Fun, finance head Rachel Phua and Yee Kim Yin, the widow of Bentley Music Group founder Phua Sin Loke.
