MIRI (Dec 14): The number of flood and landslide victims in Sarawak continues to decrease, with only two temporary relief centres (PPS) still operating in Miri.
As of 4 pm today, the Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) reported that the number of victims had decreased to 29 people from 17 families, compared with 127 people from 60 families yesterday.
The number of flood victims at the PPS in SK Suai Niah dropped to 21 people from 14 families, compared to 119 people from 57 families previously.
Meanwhile, the PPS at the Malaysian Red Crescent hall continues to house four flood victims from two families and four members of a family affected by a landslide. – Bernama
