BINTULU (Oct 28): Anna Wong Shi Na and Hii Sieh San of SMK Bintulu were recognised as the best Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) students for 2023, respectively.

They were among 68 high-achieving students from eight schools in Bintulu Division who were honoured by Press Metal Sdn Bhd during an academic incentive presentation ceremony held recently.

The students represented SMK Asyakirin, SMK Bandar Bintulu, SMK Baru Bintulu, SMK Bintulu, SMK Kemena, SMK Kidurong, SMK Sebauh, and SMK Tatau.

Among those present during the ceremony held at SMK Bintulu were Press Metal Bintulu deputy chief executive officer Ooi Beng Guan, deputy general manager Low Kwong Fei, Bintulu District Education deputy officer (Planning Section) Yusup Harbi, and SMK Bintulu principal Rosli Salleh.

He added that Press Metal Bintulu, in collaboration with the Bintulu District Education Office, has supported this initiative for the fifth consecutive year, demonstrating its commitment to nurturing academic excellence within the community.
