SIBU: Rejang Medical Centre (RMC) today (Sept 14) officially unveiled its newly Rejang Women Specialist Clinic under the Resident consultant of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Dr George Wong Ha Tta.
Dr Wong highlighted that the new clinic is dedicated to advancing women’s health through obstetrics and gynaecology, with a particular focus on the transformative field of minimally invasive surgery.
“Our clinic represents a fusion of compassionate care and cutting-edge medical technology. With special interest in laparoscopic or keyhole surgery, we are excited to offer advanced, minimally invasive procedure that are at the forefront of modern medicine.
“This approach not only enhances the precision of our surgeries but also significantly reduces recovery times, allowing our patients to return to their daily lives more quickly and with less discomfort, ” he said at the clinic’s opening ceremony.
In addition to the focus on laparoscopic techniques, Dr Wong stated that the clinic remains devoted to providing comprehensive and gynecological care.
He pointed out that whether preparing for the arrival of a new life, seeking routine preventive care, or addressing specific health concerns, the dedicated team will offer personalised and compassionate support at every step of journey.
The clinic, he said, will offer packages such as cervical screening package, premarital health screening package as well as immunisation in pregnancy package.
He also revealed that the clinic will introduce 3D, 4D and 5D scanning technology for babies.
Stressing that this advanced imaging system provides incredibly detailed images of the baby, he said, it can now offer parents a more intimate and detailed view of their baby.
