MIRI (Sept 24): Kampung Sealine here is set to get a new community hall that will be built using funds from Piasau constituency’s rural transformation programme (RTP).
Piasau assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting said works on the project will start soon.
“The project was approved for RTP 2022 and due to the painstaking procedure, the project will begin its construction this year.
“After the completion, it will provide multiple uses for the village’s activities,” said Ting, who inspected the site yesterday.
The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts also inspected two newly-tarred access roads in the village.
Works on the roads, measuring 56 metres and 65 metres respectively with a width of four metres each, were recently completed.
The access roads were approved under his constituency’s 2023 RTP and built at a cost of RM150,000.
