Sarawak Federation of Women’s Institutes delegation explores local businesses to boost entrepreneurship

KUCHING (Oct 10): Members of the Entrepreneurship Sub-Committee from the Sarawak Federation of Women’s Institutes (SFWI) recently paid visits to several business organisations here.

SFWI chairperson Aishah Edris led the delegation comprised 20 SFWI members including Entrepreneurship Sub-Committee chairperson Hamdiah Mat.

Also present were sub-committee executive secretary Rhohanniza Amika, and several SFWI committee members.

“The visits were part of an initiative to provide SFWI entrepreneurs with the exposure on well-known businesses as well as their products that have received recognition,” it said in a release.

Among the businesses they visited were PPES Ternak Sdn Bhd, Perusahaan Sambal and Ikan Terubok, and a fig farm.
