Sarawakian designer Neng Kho Razali to inspire women at InnovateSarawak Speaker Series

KUCHING, Feb 19: The #InnovateSarawak Speaker Series will return this March with a special session themed “Bloom Beyond: Redefining Strength in Womanhood”, featuring Sarawakian street–resort fashion designer and cultural practitioner Neng Kho Razali.

Held in conjunction with the upcoming International Women’s Day, the session aims to inspire participants through stories of resilience, creativity, and purpose-driven entrepreneurship, particularly from a Sarawakian perspective rooted in culture and identity.

Neng Kho, known for her work that blends contemporary fashion with Sarawak’s traditional crafts and indigenous elements, will share her journey of building a fashion label anchored in social impact and cultural preservation.

Among her notable initiatives is the creation of instant turbans for cancer patients, an effort that reflects her commitment to empowering women through design and compassion.

Organisers said the session will explore how strength in womanhood can be redefined beyond conventional narratives, highlighting entrepreneurship that is driven not only by profit but also by purpose, heritage and community engagement.

The talk will be held at the TEGAS Digital Innovation Hub in two locations. In Miri, it will take place on March 10, 2026, from 3pm to 5pm (bit.ly/SS26_1MYY), while in Bintulu, it is scheduled for March 12, 2026, from 10am to 12pm (bit.ly/SS26_1BTU).

Seats are limited and interested participants are encouraged to register early.

Organised by Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS), the #InnovateSarawak Speaker Series is part of ongoing efforts to promote digital innovation, creative entrepreneurship, and inclusive development across Sarawak under the banner of Digital Innovation for All. – DayakDaily
