SARIKEI (Sept 2): The Sarawak Service Centre (PSS) here commenced operations today, providing services and facilities to the local community.

The Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) said PSS is a user-friendly initiative by the Sarawak Government designed to transform service delivery into a one-stop solution.

“Services are accessible through various channels, including counters, mobile apps, official portals, and e-kiosks,” said the Ukas report.

The Sarawak Public Service Digitalisation Unit said such centres are already operational in Kuching, Serian, Betong, Sri Aman, Sibu, and Miri divisions.

PSS Sarikei is the seventh such centre in Sarawak.

“Services offered by PSS include payment of water and electricity bills, assessment tax, Sarawak Gas, repayment of housing loans to the Sarawak Housing Development Corporation (HDC), and land rent,” said the Ukas report.

PSS Sarikei is open on weekdays and closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

It is located on the first floor, Lot 755, Sarawak Government Administrative Centre, Sarikei Division, Jalan Seng Lee.
