SIBU (Sept 16): Isuzu D-Max owners in Sibu displayed their patriotic spirit by participating in the Isuzu Merdeka Convoy, making up part of the Malaysia Day 2024 celebrations today.
Isuzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Isuzu Malaysia) said forty-one Isuzu D-Max vehicles with 150 participants began their convoy from the new Isuzu Sibu KM Mobil showroom in Lorong Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce and drove in a parade along a 40-kilometre course through Sibu before ending at the Sibu Town Square
“The collection of Isuzu D-Max made an impression around town as the fleet of gleaming Isuzu D-Max stretched along the main roads leading up to the finishing point.”
Isuzu Malaysia said the event started with a gathering at the showroom followed by a briefing by KM Mobil’s regional manager Kenn Tan and a safety briefing by a representative of the Royal Malaysia Police.
“The participants then joined in a photo session before the convoy was flagged off by Tan and Isuzu Malaysia’s vehicle sales manager Andrew Law at 9.30am,”
Later, participants enjoyed a hearty meal at the RH Hotel, where various fund games were organised for the young and young at heart.
The day was filled with memorable experiences for the owners, who enjoyed a great day with fellow owners and took home fabulous prizes.
