SIBU (Oct 2): Five Lions clubs from Zone 4 here joined hands Monday to provide vision care to Kwong Hua Secondary School students.
The event saw free spectacles presented to the students to help improve their vision and support their academic progress.
“Through this initiative, the students received much-needed assistance and felt the care and support of the broader community.
“The spectacles not only provide clearer vision but also help enhance their learning conditions, further promoting their growth and development,” said the clubs in a joint statement.
The participating clubs were Lions Club of Sibu Pahlawan, Lions Club of Sibu Berjaya, Lions Club of Sibu Jaya, Lions Club of Sibu Sungai Merah, and Lions Club of Sibu Rejang.
Lions International District 308-A2 2nd vice district governor Dato Jimmy Tie Hien Hwa graced the event.
