Six injured in two-vehicle collision in Kuching

KUCHING (Sept 7): Six individuals were injured in a two-vehicle collision at Jalan Stutong Baru near Kampung Baru Stutong here today.

A spokesperson from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department said a call on the incident was received at 11am, and personnel from the Tabuan Jaya fire station were despatched to the scene.

“Upon their arrival, they found the incident involved two vehicles. The rescue team proceeded to extricate two victims from both vehicles, while the other victims managed to be rescued by the public before the rescue team’s arrival,” he said in a statement.

All victims were then rushed to the Sarawak General Hospital for further treatment.
