KUCHING (Sept 11): Police in Sri Aman arrested two men today on suspicion of involvement in drug-related activities in the district.
Sri Aman police chief DSP Mathew Manggie said personnel from the district police headquarters were conducting an operation when they spotted the two men behaving suspiciously.
“The suspects, aged 21 and 24, were detained for further investigation and later tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine,” he said in a statement.
Mathew said the duo is being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
“The public is encouraged to report drug-related activities to the police for further action,” he added.
