KUCHING (Oct 8): The State Legislative Assembly (DUN) will convene from Nov 11 to 20.
According to an official letter sighted by The Borneo Post, the eight-day sitting marks the Second Meeting for the Third Term of the 19th DUN.
The letter, signed by DUN secretary Nur Azhar Bujang, stated that this sitting is provided for by Rule 6 (1) of the State Legislative Assembly Regulations.
It also mentioned that by virtue of Standing Orders 19 and 24, members of the DUN are only allowed to submit no more than 10 questions to be responded in oral form by the various ministries.
The deadline to submit the questions is Oct 28.
It is expected that the tabling of the State Budget 2025 will be the main agenda of this upcoming sitting.
