BINTULU (Aug 14): The stage is set at Naim Paragon Street Mall as the Sukma XXI Muaythai competition prepares to open its rings to fighters tomorrow.

The grand opening ceremony, slated for the afternoon, will mark the beginning of what promises to be an intense and thrilling event.

Among the categories to be contested include Men’s and Women’s Wai Kru (Art solo), Men’s and Women’s Mai Muaythai (Art duo), and combat category.

The Sarawak Muaythai team, comprised of 19 determined athletes, is set to compete in the 21st edition of Sukma 2024.

With their sights set on securing two gold medals, the team is not only aiming to meet expectations but to surpass them.

They are eager to surprise their opponents and fans alike by clinching even more victories.

Tanjong Batu assemblyman Johnny Pang visited the venue today for a final inspection before the official opening ceremony.

He expressed his satisfaction with the preparations and extended his best wishes to all participating contingents, particularly the Sarawak Muaythai team.

As the countdown to the competition begins, anticipation and excitement continue to build, setting the stage for a memorable Sukma XXI Muaythai event.
