BINTULU (Aug 14): The Sarawak women’s sepak takraw team emerged victorious against Selangor in a nail-biting match at Stadium Muhibbah today.

The team clinched the win with a 2-1 score, much to the delight of their fervent supporters.

However, they faced a tough challenge in the first game, losing 6-15 in the first set.

The Sarawak women struggled to find their rhythm, and Selangor capitalised on every opportunity, showcasing their superior teamwork and strategy.

Despite Sarawak’s best efforts, they couldn’t close the gap, and the set ended in Selangor’s favor 15-13.

In the second game, Sarawak came back stronger, determined to turn the tide.

The first set was much closer, with both teams exchanging points in a fierce battle but Selangor won 17-16.

In the second set, Sarawak showcased their resilience and teamwork. With precise serves and powerful spikes, they managed to turn the tide, winning the set 15-4.
