SUPP Bawang Assan to hold ‘Service 2U’ mobile programme this Saturday

SIBU (March 6): The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Bawang Assan branch will hold its ‘Service 2U’ mobile service programme at Yalin Coffee Shop, located next to the Sibu Post Office, this Saturday (March 7) from 9am to 10.30am.

During the programme, the party’s team will offer various services, including assistance with applications for the Kenyalang Gold Card (KGC) and the Senior Citizens Health Benefit (SCHB) scheme.

SUPP Bawang Assan chairman Councillor Kevin Lau will be present throughout the mobile service session.

Eligible senior citizens who require assistance are encouraged to bring a copy of their MyKad to facilitate their applications for both schemes.

Members of the public, especially senior citizens, are encouraged to meet the SUPP Bawang Assan team during the programme.

“The mobile service initiative also aims to expand community service outreach and better understand the issues faced by residents, particularly those living in the Bawang Assan area,” said the branch in a statement.

Meanwhile, the team will also distribute cupcakes to women during the programme in conjunction with International Women’s Day.
