SIBU (Sept 27): The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Dudong, Sibu Jaya, and Nangka branches jointly presented funds and aid supplies to the Kampung Hilir fire victims recently.
Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Sibu chairman Penghulu Chua Hiong Kee received the contributions on behalf of the victims.
SUPP Dudong chairman Wong Ching Yong said the donations aimed to meet the basic living needs of the affected families.
The supplies, including food and daily necessities, were collected from concerned members of public.

“As members of society, we have a responsibility to provide support and assistance when others are in need,” he added.
