Top public speaker due for Toastmasters event

KUCHING: American Fursey Gotuaco, who twice made it to the finals of the Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking will showcase his prowess here on Nov 10.

He will make appearance at the Utama Toastmasters Club’s 20th Anniversary and Installation Dinner.

“It will be held on Nov 10 at Seafood Shangri-La CityONE, Rooftop CityONE Megamall,” said organising chairperson Amanda Lee.

“One of the highlights of the evening will be a keynote presentation by Fursey, an executive speech coach who has been teaching theatre and speech for over 30 years.

“He is also a three-time winner of Toastmasters International’s district-level International Speech and Table Topics Speech Contests.”

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organisation that teaches communication/public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.
