BINTULU (Nov 2): A 10-tonne truck was completely destroyed by a fire at Mile 13 of the Pan-Borneo Highway, Bintulu-Miri early Saturday morning.
According to information from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre, a team from the Bintulu fire station rushed to the location shortly after receiving a call about the incident at 2.42am.
“Upon arriving at the scene, the firefighters found that the fire involved the engine and the front of the truck,” it stated.
The fire was put out at 3.16am.
No injuries or casualties were reported.
