TYT and wife invited to attend Sarawak Muaythai Championship finale

KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi have been invited to attend the finale of the 8th TYT Yang di-Pertua (YDP) Sarawak Muaythai Championship 2024.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Kuching Waterfront Amphitheater on the night of Oct 5.

The invitation was extended during a courtesy visit by the championship’s organising committee, led by president of the Sarawak Muay Thai Association, Jumaat Ibrahim, at the Astana Negeri on Tuesday (Oct 1).

Accompanying the delegation were members of the organising committee Dr Noor Baizura Jamali and Sirat Ibrahim, as well as officials Ali Mos, Norizan Ibrahim and Mohd Kamal Talip.

For the record, the TYT YDP Sarawak Muaythai Championship has been held annually for eight years, becoming a cherished tradition in the region.
