TYT’s wife boosts morale with special visit

KUCHING: The men’s individual badminton competition at the Para Malaysia Games (Para SUKMA) 2024 saw a special visit from Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, the wife of the Head of State, at the Sarawak Badminton Association Hall in BDC here today.

She was warmly welcomed by Daro assemblyman Safiee Ahmad, who also serves as the Assistant Chef de Mission (ACDM) for Sarawak’s badminton team.

Fauziah was accompanied by Datin Seri Zuraini Abdul Jabbar, the wife of the Minister for Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneur Development, Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, along with other distinguished guests.

Her presence provided morale boost for Ashley Irenaeus, who was competing in the men’s individual WH2 Para badminton category.

The medal presentation for all Para SUKMA 2024 badminton events is scheduled for Friday.
