SIBU (Aug 30): Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and wife Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi paid a visit to the Rajang Area Security Command (Rascom) Gallery here today.
Established in 2012, the Rascom Gallery was the brainchild of the former commander of the 9th Infantry Brigade, Brig Gen Datuk Stephen Mundaw.
The visit was made in tribute to the efforts of the historical preservation of the military in Sarawak and to strengthen ties between the Sarawak government and the Malaysian Army (TDM).
Wan Junaidi, who once served in Rascom, reminisced past memories as he viewed the military gallery’s exhibits while being briefed by 9th Infantry Brigade commander Brig Gen Ahmad Norzaini Badrun.
