ADVERTISE HERE
BINTULU (Oct 17): The 7th Battalion Border Regiment (RS) is encouraged to maintain their training regimen.
The 31st Brigade commander, Brigadier General Dato Kamarulzaman Mohd Yunos, said continuous training is vital for the 7th Battalion Border Regiment to respond effectively and be prepared for any potential threats.
He emphasised this point when officiating the closing ceremony of Exercise Pasak Bumi (EPB) for the 7th Battalion Border Regiment, which ran from October 7 to October 15 at Lot 50 Kemena Land here.
Kamarulzaman also highlighted the importance of the policy on dismissal due to negligence in road accidents resulting in permanent injury.
“This information is crucial for raising awareness among members about safety measures to avoid accidents, which have significant personal and professional impacts,” he said.
Meanwhile, he congratulated all officers and members involved in the exercise for their high spirits.
“I hope the exercise has enhanced each member’s knowledge, particularly in counter-insurgency warfare,” he said.
The ceremony began with a demonstration of an enemy camp assault by Company A, followed by the EPB closing ceremony parade.
