Association responds to blood donation call

KUCHING: A blood donation campaign will be held this Sunday (Oct 20),  from 9am to 2pm at Batu Kawa E-Mart.

It is being organised by youth members of the  Kuching and Samarahan Pan Chern Liew Clan Association, in collaboration with Ghee Hua Co.

“It is being held in response to the call by the Sarawak General Hospital for  increased blood supply to its blood bank,” the organisers said in a statement here Wednesday.

“Additionally,  it aims to raise awareness within the community about the vital act of saving lives through blood donation.”

They thanked e-Mart Batu Kawa for providing the venue and also sponsors for their generous support.

Each successful donor that day will walk away with Kokokam products sponsored by Chenson Health Product Sdn Bhd, canned drinks sponsored by Sundrop Juices Sdn Bhd, margarine sponsored by Syarikat Kion Hoong Cooking Oil Mills Sdn.
