KUCHING, June 7: The Malaysian Space Agency (BPAngkasa) is looking into reports of a bright light that appeared in Sabah’s skies on Thursday night (June 4).
According to Bernama, the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation said that BPAngkasa, in collaboration with relevant agencies, is monitoring the situation.
It added that it has received no official reports regarding rocket debris from space.
At the same time, the ministry advised the public not to touch any suspicious objects.
“Anyone finding such objects is requested to report them immediately to the authorities by calling 999 or contacting BPAngkasa directly at 03-8885 8685 or [email protected],” it said.
Meanwhile, the public has been urged not to speculate on the subject matter and to rely only on official sources.
