TEBEDU: St Bartholomew’s Church has received RM400,000 from the Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR) for the construction of a new church building.

Tebedu assemblyman Dr Simon Sinang Bada said the existing church is no longer safe for use.

“Our UNIFOR continues to distribute funds to places of worship in Sarawak. And this church received RM400,000 for the construction of a new church,” he said during the handover of the fund and the appointment of Dikos Suntek as the new village chief for Kampung Plaman Bantang recently.

Dr Sinang urged villagers to support him in developing the community.
