KUCHING, May 29: Retail prices for unsubsidised RON95 have dropped 15 sen to RM3.92 per litre, while RON97 petrol price will fall by 20 sen to RM4.65 per litre from May 28 to June 3.

In a statement, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) added that diesel prices in Peninsular Malaysia have fallen by 10 sen to RM4.87 per litre.

It elaborated that the reductions were made in line with the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula following a decline in average international fuel prices during the previous week.

In addition, RON95 under the Budi95 scheme will remain at RM1.99 per litre, while diesel in East Malaysia remains at RM2.15 a litre, the Subsidised Petrol Control System (SKPS) at RM2.05 per litre, and the Subsidised Diesel Control System (SKDS) at RM2.15 per litre. — DayakDaily
